Whether you’re a homeowner, landlord, or buyer, our inspections create a detailed picture of lead-based paint locations on your property.
Lead Inspections: At Atlas, we prioritize quality and thoroughness in our inspections. We use cutting-edge technology, including state-of-the-art lead-based paint analyzers to detect lead levels in coated surfaces. Our inspections often include dust wipe and soil samples that are sent to NLLAP-accredited labs, guaranteeing the highest standards in analyzing results. Our lead inspector brings expertise to every inspection and is well-versed in New Hampshire’s regulations.
TCLP Testing: The lead specific TCLP (Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure) is a test that determines if waste is hazardous for lead leachate. A representative sample of the waste is taken for laboratory chemical analysis. The results of the test help determine how to dispose of the waste.
Maintenance and Monitoring: In some cases, even after a clearance inspection, regular maintenance and monitoring are essential to ensure the continued absence of lead hazards. We can create a tailor-made plan for your property to help you maintain a lead-safe environment over time.
Clearance Inspections: Our clearance inspections are designed to verify that the work performed by contractors has successfully addressed lead hazards. These inspections are critical in ensuring that the lead removal or remediation efforts meet the necessary standards and regulations.
Certificates: Atlas Lead Inspections offers certificates to validate and document the outcomes of our inspections.
Certificate of No Lead-Based Paint Detected– Issued if no lead-based paint is identified.
These certificates are not typically issued for older homes because these homes often have some amount of lead-based paint. For homes built before 1940, about 87% of them have lead-based paint, while 24% of homes built between 1960 and 1978 have lead-based paint.
